Destination: Wicklow and the Wicklow Way

Wicklow is central to Ireland’s Ancient East and is one of Ireland’s top destinations for hill walking and outdoor enthusiasts. Probably because Wicklow’s landscape is unique; rolling mountains, steep-sided glacial valleys, fast-flowing mountain streams and heather-clad hills. Ireland’s largest national park is in Wicklow, and it contains the biggest mountain area, highest waterfall and is the source of Dublin’s own River Liffey.
